  • We aim to source the most suitable candidates available. This can include reaching out to key candidates within our extensive network, carrying out a direct search and/or engaging in a targeted advertising campaign.

We thoroughly screen candidates prior to any referral

  • Our systematic applicant screening process involves undertaking initial in-depth discussions with potential candidates and clarifying qualifications, skills and prior work history. No candidate is referred on to you without this initial discussion and having been identified as a good fit for your business.
    We also review a Candidate’s qualifications, licences and immigration documentation to ensure they are relevant to your location and business requirements.

Our reporting process keeps you updated

  • Regular reporting is provided, giving you an overview of the recruitment drive and candidates in the market, as well as any suitable candidates that have been shortlisted.
    Suitable candidates are referred to you via an informative Candidate Introduction Report, which can then be shared with your internal stakeholders who are involved in filling the position. The Candidate Introduction Report provides a full overview of the Candidate and what they have to offer to your Business.

We have developed a comprehensive reference checking process

  • We pride ourselves on having actual discussions with Referees as a part of our reference checking process, rather than sending through an online proforma or tick and flick survey.
    We focus on sourcing information about a Candidate’s previous workplace performance and behaviour which captures both strengths and areas for further development. This is provided to you in a comprehensive report.

We support you through the Employer Sponsorship & Visa process

  • We assist with the Employer Sponsorship and Visa process, including meeting government labour market testing requirements for overseas based candidates.

We assist you to the very end of the recruitment process

  • We are available to assist with co-ordinating final interviews, pre-employment medicals and the appointment of successful candidates, including salary and relocation negotiations.

Our service and commitment to your business extends beyond a Candidate’s appointment

  • After a successful candidate has been appointed we maintain contact during the probation period and beyond to ensure there has been a smooth transition into your business.

Reference Checking Service

Our unique and professional Reference Checking Service is designed to complement and add valuable information to your own recruitment and selection process.

What we do:

We review the suitability of a Candidate’s nominated Referees to ensure they are of a senior or suitable line of reporting, as well as covering a current or recent period of employment.

We ensure we understand your business and the position and its duties and responsibilities and then tailor our questions to the Referee accordingly, including questions you see as pertinent to the position and your Business.

We contact Referees and gather information through actual conversations. We do not use online reference check proformas or surveys to gather feedback on candidates. Instead, we engage with Referees and provide you with a detailed Reference Check Report outlining previous work-place performance and behaviour, and the individual’s strengths and development areas. We are available to discuss or clarify any aspect of the report.

Engaging Refined Recruitment Solutions to complete the reference checking process frees up your personnel and removes the need to wait, or follow-up on Referees.

Our Referee Checking service is an independent and unbiased process that will be conducted outside of your Business and its recruitment and selection process.
